My suggestion is to: 1. Make sure you have a very strong internet connection while downloading. Try downloading the trial again in a couple weeks and see if you get the same results. Technology is simply changing SO fast that software companies are having a hard time keeping up. I always count on you to give me the thumbs up before I upgrade! Now to work on getting them to add spellcheck. Hi Jen, I have a question. We spend part of the year in Ohio, and part of the year in sunny Florida. I scrap in both places so have two computers. I am assuming I could not do that if I purchased the new version to download from Adobe. I really need to upgrade my Florida version as it is the version. I have in Ohio. Great question, Karen. I use this for cataloging my photos and for editing. I upgraded for elements to but found very little change to the editing tools and the storge is the same. Exactly what I expected and works very nicely! I upgraded from Adobe Photoshop Elements 14 to Elements and no, there isn’t a huge amount of visual difference but behind the scenes of the application seems to be better.
Better start times, more polished over, bit more reliable. I mostly needed this newer edition as Elements 14 doesn’t support the newer RAW format of my new camera but its always nice to get a new edition every few years or so anyway. I prefer the fact that this is a physical copy with DVD’s included and not just a code and online download.
Overall, a good product and just like the same thing if you have already used recent older versions of Elememts. Just with more updates and some nice new features included! If you are a photoshop elements user this is an excellent upgrade and although a tad expensive for a upgrade its well worth it i use it all the time so i get my moneys worth out of it and the new elements are really good. Used Photoshop but could not afford the updated software.

So, unisntall and back to version 2 or find an alternative. Of course there is no refund for the useless product. Pros: Cannot see any Cons: UI colours are all here; for me they are unusable. PE 9 overall. Although I think the software is great and very useful, basically easy to use, it has one main problem!
The background and menus are hard to read, the black text on dark grey is not legible, the sliders are especially difficult to discern if they are moved. I think smaller laptops with less vivid screen backlight might have more problems. Why did Adobe change this? Earlier versions were so clear to read.
